WHO AM I
Storyteller. Urban explorer. Foreigner by design.
Born in Belgium, I spent a decade in China before landing in Los Angeles. I’m a filmmaker by trade, a tech enthusiast by instinct, and a curious pedestrian wherever I go. My work blends media, architecture, and social observation—and that’s exactly what I bring to these tours.
I’m not a native Angeleno, and that’s my strength. My tours aren’t about showing you “what locals know,” but about uncovering what everyone forgets to notice.

Why DO I do this
To rethink how we experience cities
As a foreigner, I don’t take LA for granted. I see its contradictions, beauty, failures, and reinventions. The city tells stories through its buildings, streets, and silence—and I guide you through that narrative.
I believe a city is more than infrastructure. It’s a stage for human connection. In a place like LA—where cars dominate and public spaces struggle—I want to help people feel present, curious, and connected again.
MY PHILOSOPHY
“Touch Down” isn’t just a name. It’s a mission.
Touch Down in LA means: arrive, land, look closer.
I see LA as an open-air museum—if you know how to look. That’s why I blend history, film, urban design, and technology into every experience. These tours are not just walks. They’re a way to explore:
- The social life of public space
- How architecture shapes power and culture
- The myths America tells itself—and exports to the world
- How new technologies like AR can restore wonder in real-world spaces
Whether you’re a tourist, a local, or just curious, I want you to leave feeling more grounded and more inspired.
